I'm going for something of a "Cook's Hut" similar to what's in "The Skillful Huntsman" by Design Studio Press. The book 'The Skilful Huntsman' is a concept art book by Felix Yoon, Khang Lee, Mike Yamada and Scott Robinson, visualising the fairy-tale into a futuristic setting. Using the right size brushes, on the right size canvas really helps these silhouettes. The main inspiration for my project this year came from The Skillful Huntsman. A book created by a tutor and 3 of his students at the art center college of design. It'll be a good exercise for my atrophying artistic muscle to try to interpret some of these sketches into 3d. The recently purchased design book The Skillful Huntsman was inspirational in the project; it also contains silhouettes as part of the character design process. The Skillful Huntsman is a really interesting book because it treated a fairy tale as an concept project. I had seen it used a dozen times but finally it clicked when I read The Skillful Huntsman.
